Get employees in position as you wish!

Ever get frustrated that your waiter never gets into place that you wish to?

Here, I would like to introduce a way which you can get your waiter in the right place anywhere as you wish.

For those who are using island layouts, this method is definitely useful to help you get your waiter in the box precisely without getting into the same island leaving the other without a waiter.

1. Waiters position

Waiter usually stands in front of the stove from the start. However, they will move to another box accordingly if there is an obstacle placed there like as following.

waiter position
The waiter will just keep moving to another box accordingly if you keep on placing obstacle around the stove. They move according to the priority as following.
  waiter standing priority
For example, if you occupied box 1, box 2 and box 3, your waiter will next be in box 4. BUT if occupied all 7 boxes, your waiter will be gone. Nowhere will be found in your restaurant.

2. The arrangement of the stoves, cooks and waiters

The position of your cooks and waiters are determined by the order of your stoves and the order of your employee list (from left to right).

First of all, look at your employee list below your RC screen.

For example, my employees list order from left to right is as following.

employees list
Remember! from left to right order in your list!

Then, select your cooks and your waiters. Then number them as following.

employee list2

Number your cook in one category and number your waiter in another category following the order from left to right.

And so, this is how it goes...
Your 1st cook and your 1st waiter will stand with your 1st stove
Your 2nd cook and your 2nd waiter will stand with your 2nd stove.

employee list in order
I have placed my stoves in order from left to right and my cooks and waiters automatically stands in order from left to right.(^0^)

Note* Your layout might be messed up if you touched any of the stoves after the redecoration. In order to make sure you've got the correct order, reload your game after you've made any changes to double confirm your layout!

So now, according to this order, you can freely place your cooks and your waiters wherever you want them to be.

For example: I've re-arranged my stoves in this order.

stoves rearranged in order
See, I've got them just in order.

employees standing order
Remember to save your game and reload it to get a definite nicely ordered result!

For another example.
Let's say you have 6 cooks, 2 waiters with 2 island-style layout, all you need to bear in mind is to make sure your 1st and 2nd stove are placed in a different island. Like this.

And your employees will be in order nicely as you wished as following.

Using the method as I explained in the above, I can even have this layout neatly without failure!

Hope you've got it and Good Luck ! (^-^)

Make Your Employees Looking Good !

For those who do not know, you can not only change your employees dresses, you can even transform them to whatever face that you want them to be.

Almost all my employees had the very basic look and I do not like it.
So here's my employees transformation to a beauty~

transformation before and after

Single eyelid, cool eyes to a attractive blue eyes~

transformation before and afterSmiley air-stewardess to a cool red-haired girl~

transformation before and afterNormal girl to a rabbit-ty cutey~

transformation before and afterHousemaid cleaner style to a pure cutey but still a housemaid...

transformation before and after

A decent little girl to a dolly china doll~

BUT, one thing to be aware is...

Your newly made employees may come to work one day looking like this...
face changedMy dolly china doll...(><) sigh...
I would like to say, incident like this might happen if you hired a friend who is not playing Restaurant City. You can change their dresses, you can change their face, but not their hair color and skin color... (><)

It seems like all characters with no owners is programmed to switch look randomly. (><)

I was shocked, and I have decided to sack her for ruining my restaurant image...

Some advice for you is that, when looking for a new staff, remember to choose the one with your favourite color skin and your favourite color hair!!

And so, I hired her for the lost.
beforeI couldn't find my dolly china doll back...
But I like my new staff's skin and hair color which goes with blue eyes just nice. (Since another of my white haired staff came to work with brown hair the next day also...(><) )

This is how it goes to transform your employees.

1. Buy all the face parts (only 1 in each category) that you need for 1 employee at a time at "dress yourself" in your menu tab.
2. Stock them in your inventory.
3. Click to an employee's profile and click "change employee outfit".
4. Start to change all the parts one by one as shown*.
5.
Tip: Basically, the shop doesn't show anything else except dresses. But during your change with the face parts that you bought, the shop shows category of the item accordingly to the item in your inventory.
For example: If you stop at eyebrow while transforming your employee, go to "shop" and you will be in the "Eyebrow Shop". Only then, you can buy straight away from the shop. (^-^) See example shown on the video - track 0:27.

Oh yeah, one more thing...
Your employee might come to work look like this too...
face changedand she is IN Restaurant City. (><)

Just wanna say, not only the one who are not in Restaurant City, even the friend you hired is active in RC, she/he may change their style one day, effecting your employee... (><)

Well, enjoy~!

What to do when you are offline?

20090619 close door You can rest your employees and close your restaurant when you're offline.
To prevent customers from coming in, simply just bar your restaurant door with any object like a chair or a table or a plant or just remove the door and store it into your inventory. But if you are yearning to get coins faster, pump up your employees with full energy and leave them to work while you're offline. You'll get maxi up to $2,000 for leaving it the whole night. Eventhough you still need to restore your employees energy by feeding them maybe sandwich for recovery, you will still earn a few hundreds from $2,000.

But remember, leaving your employees to work while you're offline doesn't help you in gaining GP. Your popularity won't drop either eventhough when you are back with your staffs all exhausted. GP and popularity will only be changing when you are on your restaurant window.

So, either ways, it doesn't really make that much different but money and your restaurant reputation counts if you leave your restaurant running all the time~(^-^)
